According to the US Department of Labor Bureau of Statistics., the median annual wage of airline pilots, copilots and flight engineers was $137,300 in 2017. Are you looking to fly as part of your job or someone that wants fly to expand business opportunities and for the ease of not having to deal with large airport and airline issues? A five-hour trip by car can be only a one-and-a-half-hour trip in a small general aviation airplane. Maybe you want to enjoy it as a hobby. Learning to fly isn't as complicated as you think and anyone with the will and resources can learn how. If you are interested in flying as a hobby, then be prepared for a lot of excitement and learning opportunities.

How long does it take to learn fly? Learning to fly isn't difficult, but it does require study and practice. If you fly as little as twice a week you could earn your Private Pilot Certificate in less than 6 months.
